Welcome to maxfield 'live'!

We have just spent the past 3 months updating our site (formerly known as tixstar) to a site that is action packed with new and exciting e-commerce features, working alongside our friends at BigCommerce and Web Force 5. The new name, maxfield 'live'

In short, the new site will allow for a much more seamless experience for our customers which will again house some of Australia's and the World's best sports and entertainment products, all at your fingertips!

The Long Luncheon!

Having surveyed a number of our customers in recent days, so many are still working in hybrid arrangements with the most common response - that Monday's and Fridays are still being worked from home.

Whilst this type of arrangement has aided the balance of employees, reducing the need for commutes into town, perhaps even extending people's weekend's and more, the question remains what has now happened to the Friday Long Luncheon?

The fact is that this trend has moved to the Thursday Long Luncheon. You only have to walk the laneways and streets of the CBD to see that Thursday client entertainment and staff engagement, is at an all time high. This traditional form of connection is so wonderful to see.

Whilst I have a number of favourite Melbourne and Sydney locations for a long luncheon, I recently dined at both the Rooftop and Pascale at QT Melbourne and was blown away by their food offerings!

The Rooftop at QT Melbourne has long held a fine reputation as being one the places to go for a cocktail or a cold beer on a late afternoon with friends and colleagues. After undertaking a major renovation in recent times, the Rooftop has gone to the next level with ultra comfortable private booths and eclectic wallpaper, that has to be seen to be believed.

The new casual dining menu upstairs is just perfect for that quick luncheon with a client with the olives, scallops and gourmet mini lamb kebab the highlight.

Downstairs, on Level 1, you have the gourmet Pascale Bar & Grill and I have to be honest, this was one of the best meals I have ever had. With the service as elite as 'Alfred' from Batman (our glasses were always being topped up), our entree consisted of fresh Oysters with a lovely little vinaigrette, fresh bread and prawn sandwich! Wow!

The sirloin steak for main was genuinely one of the best steaks I have ever had and this was complimented with a 'vibey' atmosphere, dark room (which made it feel ultra private) despite being a 60 person dining room.
